Location
Corfu - the ”greenest island” of Greece- offers magnificent culture monuments, different countrysides and relaxing beaches.
A long, nice, sandy beach lies at the south-west part of the island.
This area is named Aghios Georgios.
Beside watersport- and swim opportunities, the beach invites to long walks through a smoothy, wide dune countryside.
Local small stores and souveniershops tempt to shop in the village. Comfortable taverns and restaurants offer delicious greek cuisine. But also self provision is supported by nearby supermarkets. If you want to see more from the island, you have the opportunity to rent a bicycle, scooter, motorbike or car. There is also a bus line to the about 30 km far main town Corfu.
The distance from the bungalows to the sea is about 5 minutes by foot.
There, a several kilometer long sandy beach and cristal clear water offers swimming enjoyment for the whole family. But also those ones, who wants to be allone, will find a quiet place. The flat, into the sea going beach is perfect for children.
Bus trips to Corfu-town(about. 30 km).
Boat trips to the Neighbourislands Paxos and Antipaxos or to the greek mainland.
Travellings around the green island, visiting of Achilion (holiday resort of the Queen Sissi), drive to the monastery Paleokastriza, trip to the waterslidepark, walk to the nearby protective nature resort, Mountain Bike tours through the olive-trees, etc.
At the main season there are also available by charge umbrellas and sunbeds, as a boat- and surfing rental.
